The renowned Rosehill Gardens Racecourse is located 23 kilometres west of Sydney’s CBD on James Ruse Drive, and along with the Royal Randwick is one of the state’s premier racing venues.

Home to the Sydney Turf Club, which was established in 1943, Rosehill has been conducting races since 1885. Work begun on the course back in 1883 and its completion in 1885 was at a cost of £17,000.
