The picturesque Rosehill Gardens racecourse is one of Sydney’s premier racing venues. Home to a plethora of exciting and highly anticipated group races every season throughout its annual Autumn and Spring Racing Carnivals, the racecourse is managed by the Sydney Turf Club (STC). Often referred to as the ‘Gardens’, Rosehill Racecourse is situated 23 kilometres west of Sydney’s CBD and features four training tracks, a stunning grandstand, full on-track betting facilities as well as restaurants and bars.
One of the most well known and prestigious races held at the track is the $3.5million Group 1 AAMI Golden Slipper (1200m), which is the richest race for two-year-olds in the world. Other major events include the $2.25million Group 1 BMW (2400m), $500 000 Group 1 Rosehill Guineas (2000m), and the $1million Group 1 Golden Rose (1400m).
